Speaker Biographies:

Mark Gaudette, CPP

Mark Gaudette, CPP is a Board Certified Loss Prevention and Security Executive with extensive experience in all aspects of retail and physical security

Mark is the Director of Loss Prevention for an independently owned supermarket chain doing business in New England.

He is a frequent presenter at the ASIS International Seminar and other national trade group conferences as a subject matter expert in Loss Prevention and Security.

He serves as Regional Vice President of ASIS International, Region 5F and is Secretary of the ASIS National Retail Loss Prevention Council. Mark also serves on the various industry Asset Protection Councils and committees.

Mark and his wife Lisa reside in Chicopee Massachusetts and have two grown children and two Grandchildren.

Bobby McFarlin

Robert “Bobby” McFarlin is the Organized Retail Crime investigator for Big Y Foods headquartered in Springfield, MA.   Bobby came to Big Y in 2014 after a 37yr career at the Springfield, Ma Police Department.

He retired as Executive Deputy Chief, 2nd in command of the department. Over the years Bobby held leadership positions in uniform patrol division, detective bureau and narcotics unit, served as commanding officer of both the homicide and narcotics units, and as deputy chief commanded all SPD investigative divisions.

Bobby has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield, Ma State College, Master of CJ from American International College in Springfield, Master of Public Administration also from AIC. Professional development includes successful completion of the Senior Management Institute for Police, sponsored by Harvard University Kennedy School of Govt and International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Bobby resides in Springfield, Ma with his wife of 36 yrs. and has four adult children and two granddaughters.
