Matthew D. Thomas, CPP, has been with MGH Police, Security and Outside Services for fifteen years. Prior to his current role as an operations supervisor, Matt was a senior investigator with their Special Investigations Unit for nine years. He has advocated for hundreds of victims of intimate partner abuse in his career and was a “founding father” of MGH Men Against Abuse.
Since Men Against Abuse’s inception in 2005, Matt has been intricately involved in the program’s development, education and training, outreach programs and sustainability efforts. Along with his involvement in Men Against Abuse, Matt has attended and facilitated numerous educational seminars on intimate partner abuse. Matt holds a BA in English Literature.
