John Tello is Assistant Director, Safety and Security for Boston Properties. For the past fourteen years at Prudential Center, John's primary focus has been on life safety systems, fire protection and emergency preparedness for security staff, property management and building occupants in high rise environments and mixed use properties. Prior to joining Boston Properties, John worked in Corporate Security positions for State Street Bank and The First National Bank of Boston. John is a 1982 graduate of Westfield State College and has 27 years of security/law-enforcement experience. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the National Fire Protection Association.
