The Future of Organized Crime: How It Affects You and Your Organization!

L. Michael McCartney, PhD is a leading expert on organized crime and foreign and domestic terrorism. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Business, Law and Public Policy at Anna Maria College, Paxton Mass. Previously Michael was a faculty member for 26 years in the Center for the Study of Criminal Justice at Westfield State College. He also worked in the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (under the DOJ), was a crime writer for a major NY newspaper, presented at the International Society of Political Psychology Twenty-Second Annual Scientific Meeting in Amsterdam/1999, The Netherlands - Democracy and the Dangerous Man: Citizen Virtue vs. Mafia Justice.

Michael's presentation will focus on the future of organized crime. (Russian style "industry specific" mafias, etc.)
